You will be redirected to our online scheduling system (Time To Pet) where you will be required to create your personal profile as well as create one for EACH of your pets. Our registration process takes roughly 10 minutes to complete.
Once your information is submitted we will contact you with a follow-up email to schedule a Meet & Greet.
Meet & Greet
Our Meet & Greet’s are our complimentary consultations in your home that we conduct prior to the start of service. They are generally between 20-30 minute sessions where we have the opportunity to:
- – Go over your registration information
- – Discuss your pet(s) daily routine
- – Get to know you and your pet(s)
- – Answer any and all questions or concerns you might have
- – Collect 2 sets of keys (fobs included)
- – Collect signed Policies
- – Collect payment in full
In order to ensure your pet(s) are always cared for we assign two pet sitters or dog walkers. Although we cannot guarantee that the same pet sitter or dog walker will be the one to care for your pet each time, we try our best to schedule them on a consistent basis for maximum comfort.
All scheduling is done through Time To Pet. With it you have the flexibility to schedule, change and cancel appointments whenever you want from the comfort of your own home. Simply log in and schedule away!
Services will be approved or denied within 24 business hours of submission and payment is required in full prior to the start of services.
**Please note that all appointments must be done through our online scheduling system and pet sitters or dog walkers will not accept changes, cancellations or additions of services.**
In the best interest of your pet we require that dogs are visited at least once every 8 hours but recommend 3 visits a day.
Cats must be visited at least once every 24 hours but recommend 2 visits a day.
We DO NOT offer every other day visits for cats or third party care takers.
Early Returns/ Last Minute Changes
The Litter Sitter, Inc. does not issue refunds or credits for early returns or last minute changes to previously scheduled appointments.
The Litter Sitter, Inc. accepts cash and checks made out to The Litter Sitter, inc.
Credit cards are also accepted but a processing fee will be added in addition to your services.
All services must be paid in full during the initial Meet & Greet consultation or scheduled appointments will not be approved.
Clients can choose to be billed weekly, bi-weekly or on a monthly basis.
All returned checks (i.e insufficient funds) will incur a $45 fee per check.
The Litter Sitter, Inc. does not issue refunds.
All cancellations over non-holiday periods, with a minimum of 24 hours notification will receive a credit for use on future services.
Credit must be used within 3 months of cancellation date.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notification will be charged in full and no credit will be issued.
Cancellations Over Holiday Periods:
- – 15 days prior: FULL CREDIT
- – 7-14 days prior: 50% CREDIT
- – 6 days or less: NO CREDIT
Credits will be added to account and clients may then use for future services.
